How do I install the new mobile app?

How long can I use the previous app?

Our current application will be available until 15 April 2024, after which we will continue to serve you through the updated Alternatif Bank Mobile. 

I downloaded the new app, can I start using it now?

Once the new application has been downloaded, you can start using it immediately by logging in with your existing username and password. Once a new application is logged in with the device used in the old application, it will be able to resume operations without a 1 hour limit.

I've downloaded the new app, I'm getting a device alert. What do I do?

If you receive a device alert when you enter a new application, you can delete your registered device by connecting your new ID and NFC-enabled device to the Video Chat stream from the "I forgot my password/Sim card and change device" field on the home screen, and then log in later. 

I'm using a shared account, can I use the new app?

Users with both individual and shared accounts will be able to log in with only one account via the new app. Two accounts are working to use the new application at the same time, and one account can be logged in until a change is made. 

By this date, you can use your individual account from the new application, and your shared account through the existing application.

The Alternatif Bank Internet Branch provides its customers with high security access. Alternatif Bank security features are as follows: 
SSL 256 Bit Encryption: Alternatif bank Internet Branch SSL 3.0 is protected by a 256 bit encryption system. This system establishes a secure line between your computer and the banking system. This system, widely used for security purposes around the world, keeps your information and accounts secure.
Virtual Keyboard: A security application that deactivates programs such as "Screenlogger" and "Keylogger" that malicious people use to steal Internet branch passwords.
Recent Successful Login / Recent Failed Login Display: Check the date and time information you logged in to the Internet Branch here to see if there is an unknown login.
SMS Password: This is a security password that is sent to your mobile phone when you request a second confirmation, such as EFT / Transfer transactions, security settings updates, which provides extra security for your access to the Internet Branch. 
Encryption Device: This is a device that generates a security password sent to your mobile phone when requested a second confirmation, such as EFT/Debate operations, security settings updates, which provides extra security for your access to the Internet Branch with the same SMS password. 
Automatic Termination: If you leave the Internet Branch without a secure exit procedure, the Alternatif Bank Web Branch session is automatically closed after 6 minutes in order to prevent unauthorized entries. 
Money Transfer Warning: You will be notified by e-mail and SMS of amounts coming out of your account within certain limits. 
Visualization Usage: It also allows corporate customers to use the Internet Branch for visualization purposes only without transactions.

About Mobile Notification and Alternatif Password Security Verification

Security Authentication with Mobile Notification and Alternatif Password

By identifying your device with Alternatif Bank Mobile, you can now easily execute your transaction without the need for an additional verification step in your login and in-app financial transactions.

You can complete your transactions with our Internet Banking and Customer Contact Center by confirming the notification to be sent to your specified device instead of the one-time code previously transmitted to you by SMS.

Login with Mobile Notification

Mobile Notification Login is a secure method of logging into your device by confirming notification from Alternatif Bank Mobile instead of SMS password.

To easily connect to Alternatif Banking Internet Banking and our Customer Contact Center services via Mobile Notification:

After entering your password, a notification is sent to your device that has been paired with Alternatif Bank Mobile.

By pressing the notification on your device, you can securely log in to our Alternatif Banking Internet Banking and Customer Contact Center services by clicking the confirmation button.

Alternatif Password

If your device is not notified, click on the Alternatif Password tab at the bottom left of the Alternatif Bank Mobile app and enter your password to access Internet banking with a one-time code you will generate.

If no notification is received from your device, check your Internet settings. Also make sure your notification settings for the Alternatif Bank Mobile app are enabled.

How do I define my device?

When you update or install Alternatif Bank Mobile on your device for the first time, simply log in to the app with your user information and enter a 6-digit code sent by SMS to your phone. Once your device has been identified with our app, you can easily execute the transaction without any additional verification step for your login and financial transactions within the app.

You can identify with only 1 device. You can manage your identified device from the “Delete Registered Device” page under the Internet Banking or Alternatif Banking Mobile “Settings” menu.

If you already have an Alternatif Bank account defined on your device, you can reset the defined device registration and identify the new user by deleting and re-installing the Alternatif Bank Mobile app to be able to log in with a new account.

Please do not rely on advertisements that target our bank's official social media accounts, websites, platforms other than the mobile app and ask you for private information such as card, password, internet banking login information.
