Alternatif Bank Offers its Personnel the Opportunity to Work Remotely for 4 Weeks in Summer Months
Alternatif Bank provides great flexibility to its personnel and offers them the opportunity to work anywhere for 4 weeks of their choice with ‘Alternatif Yaz’ practice. Alternatif Bank personnel that work remotely also have the opportunity to enjoy summer with their families and loved ones.
Alternatif Bank, frequently associated with its innovative projects implemented to enable its personnel to establish balance between work and life, maintains its activities without interruption in order to offer happier, peaceful, and efficient work environments to its personnel with its perspective based on ‘people oriented’ approach. In this context, the Bank continued its “Alternatif Yaz” practice, which it launched in 2022, this summer as well, enabling its personnel to work anywhere for 4 weeks of their choice in July and August. This practice enables Alternatif Bank personnel to enjoy the summer with their loved ones, while having the opportunity to experience the peace of a balanced work-social life rhythm. Besides, Alternatif Yaz practice is not limited to Istanbul; all head office teams who currently work under hybrid system can benefit from this practice, wherever they are across Turkey.
Alternatif Bank Human Resources EVP Bike Tarakcı, indicating that happiness of personnel was one of the cornerstones of the Bank’s success, stated “We believe that achievements in business life is only complemented by happiness in personal life. Tarakcı, providing information about AlterFlex practice, ended his statement as follows: “In addition to our Alternatif Yaz practice, our personnel can work remotely for two days per week and also take advantage of flexible working hours within the scope of AlterFlex. All of our head office employees are able to determine their work hours themselves, based on their needs at times outside our core hours. Currently, almost 40% of our head office personnel, including our subsidiaries, work fully remotely, while almost 45% work under hybrid model within the scope of AlterFlex. We implement AlterFlex in a manner that it covers all of our employees by planning annual additional administrative leaves for our work groups that cannot be matched with remote working or flexible working model due to their roles.
