Alternatif Bank was selected as the “Best Bank for Diversity and Inclusion in Turkey” in Euromoney 2024 Awards of Excellence, thanks to its successful projects conducted in accessible banking and financial inclusion fields.

Alternatif Bank crowned its activities carried out in the field of Accessible Banking with the award it received. The Bank, aiming to enable everyone to access all of its services equally and conveniently, was granted the “Best Bank for Diversity and Inclusion in Turkey” award in 2024 Awards of Excellence, organized to feature institutions that achieve excellence in the financial services sector by Euromoney, one of the leading banking and finance publications worldwide.

Alternatif Bank, being deemed worthy of this prestigious award as a result of its successful activities carried our in the field of ‘Accessible Banking’ for the 5 years, aims to pioneer a change of mindset in the banking sector with its activities. The Bank, conducting several studies aimed at continuous improvement of accessibility of physical and digital service channels, besides information and awareness studies in this scope, undersigned many pioneering innovative and independent projects in the banking sector with its ‘Accessible Banking Terms Glossary’ and the first Social Impact Measurement studies in the field of Accessible Banking in Turkey. The Bank, addressing its Accessible Banking studies with a 360-degree perspective, contributes to not only activities conducted to remove obstacles in the society but also a sustainable world with inclusive practices and projects. With its activities in this field, Alternatif Bank focuses on the social aspect of sustainability and its principles specific to ‘financial inclusion’ and continues to create difference in this area as well. 

Alternatif Bank CEO Ozan Kırmızı, expressed his opinions about the award, emphasized that this prestigious award was an indicator of international appreciation for determined work of the Bank in the field of accessible banking, and thanked all personnel and stakeholders that contributed to granting this prominent award to Alternatif Bank.
